Assistant Project Manager

Job summary
Stellar is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager with 1-2 years of experienceto assist the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and other team membersin the construction management of food processing facilities.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with construction project managers to ensure projects are competitively bid and meet client needs• Provide support to PM's, Field Engineers, and Superintendents throughout the construction and commissioning phases• Prepare and update project schedules• Estimating• Coordinate submittals• Change order pricing and documentation• Project labor analysis and reports• Project buyout (subcontracts, purchase/service orders)• Monthly and weekly reports• Job site visits• Assist in the management of vendors, subcontractors, and customers
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Construction Management, Building Construction, or similar field required• 1-2 years of construction related experience, preferably in industrial or large commercial projects• 20% nationwide travel required
