Le Moyne College is hiring for a tenure-track Assistant Professor positionThe position is in the Department of EducationThe focus of the position is teaching children with disabilities and conducting research
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Teaching courses related to special education legal processes• Teaching diagnostic and eligibility assessment and decision• Teaching differentiated instruction within inclusive settings• Maintaining ongoing communication with all stakeholders• Implementing current research-based best practices in schools
Requirements
• Ph.D. or EdD in Special Education or related field• 3-5 years teaching experience with individuals with disabilities in K-12 schools• Classroom teacher certification in special education• Evidence of an active research agenda related to special education• Commitment to service
