The Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Veterinary Anatomy shall have the primary responsibility of teaching veterinary anatomy and shall be held accountable for the teaching obligations as it contributes to the attainment of the mission of the University, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Department.
Required Qualifications
Veterinary Medical Degree from an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited college or school or a PhD in an area related to anatomy.

Veterinary Medical Degree from an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited college or school

Contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of veterinary anatomy didactic and laboratory sessions within the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM)
Job Duty
assist in the setup and delivery of veterinary anatomy workshops with CVM
Job Duty
promote by precept and example a general atmosphere within the CVM of respect for knowledge, thought and inquiry
Job Duty
maintain intellectual integrity and to strive for academic excellence in his/her teaching;
Job Duty
develop novel methods to teach anatomy to include virtual content, plastinated prosections, and preserved prosections to limit use of cadavers
Job Duty
carry out lecture, seminar, small group discussion and/or clinical assignments and responsibilities effectively
Job Duty
help present a course, and/or small group discussions
Job Duty
prepare examination questions as well as grade a course or portion of course
Job Duty
meet classes according to published schedule
Job Duty
commit to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity
Job Duty
provide service by attending scheduled faculty meetings and by serving on appointed and/or elected committees as required

complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites;
