An earned Ph.D. degree (All-But-Dissertation, ABD, cases will be considered) in civil engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates must have demonstrated a commitment to quality teaching and scholarly research. Preferred Qualifications


Research experience in construction engineering and management; teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels; experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; proven interdisciplinary research experiences on state/federally funded projects; curriculum/course development; proposal development. The College of Engineering is home to seven departments: Bioengineering; Civil Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering; Materials Science and Engineering; and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
