The Assistant Site Manager (ASM) is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating the operations of a local USCIS Field Office. As an ASM, your responsibilities would include:
Assisting Site Manager in oversight of office operations and timely completion of all deliverables Monitoring data entry, mail and file operations, and quality control processes to ensure compliance with the USCIS FOSS Contract and reporting progress to Site Manager Planning and coordinating with Site Manager and leadership team to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met Scheduling contractor staff, approving time off, initiating and implementing disciplinary actions, mentoring staff Directing, assisting, and providing guidance to contract staff in various functional areas by establishing priorities and reallocating resources as needed to meet goals established by USCIS Maintaining close coordination with Site Manager on operational issues Collaborating with Site Manager to ensure best practices are in place and evaluate/update as needed Training new employees, creating training plans Creating/updating written standard operating procedures Participating in meetings with government personnel Managing site operations in Site Manager's absence Other duties as assigned. Associates Degree or a combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years of management experience where you supervised teams of 30+ people Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Ability to read and understand proficiently in English Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching At Sciolex Corporation, our top priorities and most valuable resources are our employees, which is why we offer a competitive total compensation package.
