Assistant Manager Restaurant

ASSISTANT MANAGER RESTAURANT - STARBUCKS @ TI Location Las Vegas, NV (The Strip area) : Overview: It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Restaurant Manager - Starbucks @ TI to assist in the management of the restaurant operation. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Specific Job Functions: Complete paperwork, daily reports and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurant Order products and supplies for the restaurant Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and regular staff training meetings Manage and lead staff including hiring, scheduling, employee counseling and commendations Train all employees on steps of service, sequence of service and hold them accountable to the standards Ensure daily operational tasks are performed & completed Ensure all equipment is in working order Ensure all areas of the establishment are constantly maintained for cleanliness Practice all necessary sanitation methods to ensure all food safety standards are followed Communicate via e-mail in a professional manner and follow all computer use guidelines Ensure necessary tools are provided to staff Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and control budgeted labor costs Ensure all departmental & company policies are followed Assist Manager in achieving all service, financial and human resource goals set forth by the property executives Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department Responsibilities/Qualifications: Two years prior high-volume, Assistant Manager or Supervisory restaurant experience required. Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms Must possess basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access College degree preferred
