Job Description
Hundred Mile Brewing
As a AGM your goal is to achieve desired company results with guests, employees, and financials through company aligned objectives and processes.
The AGM directly supervises all other managers and supervisory personnel, which includes all bar personnel, shift supervisors, servers, utility, hosts and event planner.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Monitor restaurant operations, control costs and initiate corrective plans as needed by working with the GM
Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
Recruit, hire and train all restaurant staff
Schedule employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage.
Monitor restaurant finances, including sales, expenses and food COGS
Target goal for labor costs = 31%
Target goal for food costs = 25%
Work with the Event Coordinator to ensure all events run smoothly and are profitable.
Streamline restaurant processes to improve guest experience
Nurture a positive working environment and mitigate any negative energy immediately
Enforce food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase guest safety
Work with Chef on estimating consumption, forecasting and maintain bar and FOH inventory
Manage bar and FOH inventory and supplies
Minimize waste
Complete necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory, onboarding and termination, staff attendance reports
Implement incentive programs with FOH to reward and improve upselling
Prerequisite Skills and Experience:
Leadership skills to guide and inspire staff
Strong organizational skills
Financial knowledge to manage the budget effectively and keep the restaurant profitable.
Analytical skills to interpret reports and make data-driven decisions
Familiarity with Toast POS and 7 Shifts Scheduling Software
