Opening and closing the restaurant, preparing and reconciling closing banks, conducting pre-shifts with your team, writing daily recaps, and doing the final restaurant walk-through. Managing the floor, touching tables, running food, overseeing staff, and monitoring the door. Assisting in training, coaching, supporting, and disciplinary conversations with employees. Participating in management meetings. Assisting GM in controlling COGS, labor, and comps to budgets as set by GM. Assisting in the execution of monthly inventory. Writing schedules for front of the house staff. Qualifications : At least 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager in a full-service, fast-paced environment Food and beverage knowledge with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Great communication and organizational skills Physical Requirements : Prolonged hours of walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, etc..
