e are seeking an Assistant Director for our Field Operations team!
The Assistant Director-Field Operations will a
ssist in the supervision of Field Operations staff to include Desk Reviewers, Field Staff Appraisers, Administrative staff and independent
appraisal companies.
Develop
a
nd
monitor
standards
of
performance for staff and
independent
appraisal
companies.
Select DRP facilities where appraisal
volume dictates
and review
their work
product. Be the
mediator between
customers
and
the DRP facility when
a complaint arises
on the repairs
to a vehicle.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Oversee and manage Field Appraisers
,
Re-inspector, Desk Reviewer
and
Independent
Appraisal companies
in
order to
monitor
estimate and workmanship
quality
and adherence to company guidelines.
Develop
and maintain appropriate
quality
control standards
for
staff and field
Oversee quality
control
reviews on work performed by field personnel in
accordance
with the company estimating
Monitor
and maintain the re-inspection
Develop
and approve relationships
with
auto
repair
facilities
and
maintain
list
of
repair facilities
for
use in claim regions.
Develop
and approve relationships with
independent
appraisal companies in areas where we
do not have field
staff,
as well as provide adequate reinspection of appraisals performed.
Provide monthly
/
year to
date
report on work performed
by
field
personnel, the
D
RP
facilities and the
re-inspections of
their work.
Manage the
administrative
functions
of
the
unit related to personnel,
which include:
Screening, interviewing
and selecting
Setting
performance
objectives and
monitoring
performance
Ensuring training
programs are
appropriate and support
department
Support special projects as assigned.
Conduct reviews of vendors
to
ensure competitive
Hire
applicable staff appraiser
in
any given area warranted
by
volume and salary costs versus
Independent
Appraisal/LAE costs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
:
5 yrs minimum prior appraising
/
adjusting experience
Prior management experience
Comprehensive knowledge of automobile manufacturing and repair technology
Working knowledge of claims handling and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Background in personnel selection, goal setting, monitoring and communicating performance results
Good leadership
,
training and development skills
College degree or technical school training or significant work experience
