Reporting to the branch manager, the Assistant Branch Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the branch manager in the overall management of the branch - may step in for branch manager in their absence. Supports efforts to deepen existing relationships and maximize revenue, sales, and customer satisfaction, while minimizing operational losses and customer attrition. Contributes to the implementation of promotional campaigns and product initiatives at the branch level.
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all day-to-day operations within the branch Provide customer service and support Leverage customer relationships into sales/business development opportunities Responsible for cash controls Conduct audit functions Open new accounts Assist with assessing employee's performance Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures Responsible for safety and security of branch and employees Conduct training as needed Create and manage staff schedule Communicate regularly with stakeholders Review/take final action on uncollected and overdraft reports Monitor/review other management/operational reports as needed Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/GED 2-3 years' supervisory experience 3 years banking experience Strong problem solving, communication, organizational and management skills; and excellent verbal and written communication skills EOE M/F/V/D Member FDIC
