Assisted Living Assistant Administrator Responsibilities The Nursing Home Assistant Administrator manages all business-related activity to achieve the Company vision and supporting strategies and assures that the company image as an ethical and high-quality provider of health services is maintained. As the Assistant Administrator, you will assist in the overall operation of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations while completing the required training hours for certification or licensure. The Assistant Administrator is responsible for becoming familiar with the standards of practice for skilled nursing and long-term care and achieving a proficient level of competency within all departments of the facility.
Assisted Living Assistant Administrator Requirements Possess basic financing and accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in nursing home administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Currently working towards licensure in the state in which practicing. Previous experience in the long-term care industry required; minimum of two years of experience in long-term care highly preferred. Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. Commitment to team-oriented outcomes and quality care. Possess effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies, their representatives, and the community at large.
