Responsibilities
• Assemble parts according to process sheet/print instructions• Perform electrical, mechanical, and magnetic testing• Perform in-process hi-pot testing• Perform basic set up of fixtures• Perform vapor blasting• Perform inventory counts and verification• Assist with prototype or first time builds• Assist with development and improvement of procedures• Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality• Cross-train other employees as needed
Requirements
• High school education or GED equivalency• Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation• Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools• Ability and willingness to operate high temperature ovens and furnaces• Ability and willingness to pass Visual Acuity Exam• Ability and willingness to obtain Solder and Braze certification• Preferred assembly, solder experience, and electronics manufacturing experience• Comfortable working with multiple chemicals and/or gas compounds• Familiarity with 6S and lean manufacturing knowledge• Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition
