Essential Job Duties: The primary role of a mentor is to meet with the assigned student-athlete to develop and improve time management skills and productive study habits. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Assist student-athletes to set academic goals (short and long term)
•Assist student-athletes with requesting Disability Services Office (DSO) accommodations, if needed
•Effectively communicate in a timely manner
•Participate in group training and supervision meetings

Work Schedule: Ten hours weekly, days and evenings required (including Sundays)

•Must have a willingness to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
•Must have the ability to teach study skill and learning strategies
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: Prefer one year of experience.
