The manager will focus on safety, quality, reliability, profitability or dept, process improvement and performance development and management of the department. Working with the Asphalt Yard and Receiving teams, the Asphalt Operations Manager develops and maintains comprehensive procedures, policies and systems to improve safety, training, quality, cost and efficiency.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:5+yrs in a Senior Management Role within Asphalt Operations/ Plant ManagementAbility to wear many hats to team players and customersDecent company longevity/ CommitmentProvides appropriate leadership, resources and processes to ensure robust plant operations.Promotes a culture of safe and clean work environment where safety is the highest priority.Ensures corrective actions are taken to investigate and resolve safety/quality/reliability/process related issues and to make the workplace safer.Lead, develop and implement plans to identify and resolve hazards and housekeeping issues including deployment of capital, when needed.Guide and lead team in operational excellence quality, cost control, diversity, engagement and regulatory compliance.Responsible for reliable operations of the asphalt processing segment of the manufacturing operation.
