Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair to specifications for issues on most current makes and models of vehicles, both foreign and domestic.• Work as a team both getting help and assisting other technicians in performing technical and mechanical activities including state inspections.• Researching the vehicle that is being worked on for service bulletins and repair info.• Explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals who may include other service writers/employees and/or customers on an as-needed basis.• Learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.• You may also be responsible for Repair Estimates
Requirements
• 2+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosisProblem solving, and repair experience Virginia State Inspector Licensed.• At least 1 ASE within 1 year of hireASE Master Certified L1 (Automobile Advanced Engine Performance Specialist) with a focus on diagnostics a plus.• Strong leadership skills a plus.• Customer-focused attitude• High level of motivation and energy!
