Job summary
Area Claims Supervisor responsible for managing crop insurance claims within assigned territory.Key responsibilities include staff development, internal communication, and providing guidance on claims adjusting issues.Full-time remote position located in Florida.

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain professional relationships with regional leadership and other departments.• Stay informed about growth potential and provide information to regional claim manager.• Ensure efficient use of resources and track claim productivity data for performance management.• Identify training gaps/needs and work with staff to meet service level goals.• Serve as an informational resource for adjusters and oversee staffing and job development activities.• Exhibit qualities consistent with company philosophies and provide exemplary levels of service.• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.• 5 years' crop insurance claim experience required, 2+ years' supervisory/management experience preferred.• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.• Licensing and CAPP certification in accordance with FCIC and State requirements required.• Basic mathematical skills and effective communication skills.• Ability to complete documentation requirements and utilize analytical thinking.• Self-motivated, efficient, and able to work both independently and within a team environment.• Working knowledge of crop insurance regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
