CR architecture + design is looking for an experienced and customer service oriented Project Manager to join our retail studio in our Denver office and help us deliver f ast-paced projects located nationwide for a global retail brand. __________________________ THE CHALLENGE A Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing all administrative and technical project efforts, serving as a primary client liaison, and actively engaging in key client relationships. A Project Manager is accountable for project success, including the technical quality, profitability, and execution of tasks within the budgeted hours of the project and scheduled timeframe, while adhering to client standards and design intent. A Project Manager leads, manages, and holds project team members accountable and supervises a small team of Designers, Architects, and Interior Designers.
___________________________ HOW YOU SUCCEED Actively plan, organize, and direct the work throughout the life of the project, ensuring that the quality of construction documents meet the design intent and the project is successfully delivered to the client. Determine the scope of work, estimate fees, and prepare proposals and contracts. Establish and actively manage project budgets and schedules; ensure billable hours, team utilization, and financial goals are met; execute projects on-time while meeting all deadlines. Actively manage resource allocation and planning. Attend and present at client project meetings. Actively seek business development opportunities with existing clients. Provide consistent, clear, and effective communication to internal team members, clients, and external stakeholders. Assist with training and mentoring junior team members. Participate in employee interviews and performance management process. Maintain regular, in-person and punctual attendance. ___________________________ WHAT YOU NEED Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution along with 8 years of design and production experience is preferred; minimum of 5 years of design and production experience is required. Minimum of 2 years of related project management experience within the architecture field; including the financial performance, resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and client relationship management responsibilities is strongly preferred. Retail project experience is strongly preferred. Understanding of client expectations and the full life-cycle of projects and effective project management is required. Demonstrated success building, nurturing, and fostering existing client relationships and motivating and leading internal teams is required. Knowledge of building construction systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards is required. Knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD with the ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule is required. Experience utilizing project management software to track financial performance, resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and approve timesheets is preferred. Exceptional communications skills including written, verbal, and presentation are required. Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities is required. Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting is required.
