Job summary
AECOM is seeking an Architectural Historian to join their Cincinnati, OH office.The responsibilities include conducting historic investigations, documenting resources, and assessing eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places.This is an experienced professional position that works under limited supervision.

Responsibilities
• Conduct historic built-environment investigations and inventories for Section 106 compliance projects.• Define appropriate Area of Potential Effects for project effects on built-environment resources.• Document and inventory identified resources per federal and state standards.• Assess resources for eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places.• Develop effects assessments for eligible or listed resources.• Develop solutions for technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.• Act as a key consultant and document and inventory historic significant sites.• Work on historic resource projects from pre-field stages to final report.• Formulate procedures and practices within the department.• Work with limited supervision.
Requirements
• BA/BS Degree in Architecture, History, or related field.• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or equivalency.• Valid Driver's license.• Preferred qualifications include 6 plus years of relevant experience and meeting professional qualification standards for work in history and architectural history.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to work well in a project team and a fast-paced environment.• US Citizenship is required for this position.
