Electrical Engineer II .
Responsibilities:
Position Summary/ Primary Purpose
Electrical engineers in the Automated Vehicle Engineering group concept, design, and validate electrical and control systems for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for use in manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, and entertainment applications among others.

Major Areas of Responsibility
Review and interpret customers project specifications
Define scope of work and description of operation
Calculate equipment performance requirements and capabilities
Create control and electrical system concept documentation
Create control and electrical system design specifications
Create control and electrical system schematics
Create test and as-built documentation
Manage budget, schedule, and scope of design
Evaluate and select control and electrical components
Engage internal and external teams to ensure control and electrical systems conform to applicable standards
Engage internal and external teams to ensure control and electrical systems conform to functional deliverables
Engage internal and external teams to evaluate control and electrical system technical risk
Engage with internal and external teams to recommend and implement product and process improvement
Qualifications:
What Were Looking For
B.S. in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics) or equivalent experience
Proficiency
English Language
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Microsoft Office
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Electrical design and component selection
Control theory and application
Desired Experience
AutoCad or AutoCad Electrical
NEC, NFPA Specifications
ANSI B56.5 Specification
UL 583 Specification
ISO 3691
5+ years direct experience in electrical design
Demonstrated Physical Abilities as Follows:
Visits to customer locations may require negotiating through an industrial facility, including, but not limited to, conveyor systems requiring climbing access ladders, negotiation screen guards, catwalks, and lifting and/or carrying objects up to 40 lbs.
