Job Title: ABA Teacher (ABAT)
Schedule: 7:30am - 3:00pm
Salary: $44,616; opportunity to increase after 90-days
Location: Crossroads Continuum, Marlborough, MA Job Summary: Crossroads Continuum is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ABA Teacher (ABAT) to join our team. Under the supervision of the Lead Special Education Teacher, the primary duty of the ABAT is to teach students using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The ABAT will help students achieve the goals and objectives outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Benefits: Generous Paid Time Off: 4.6 break weeks/equivalent, 9 sick days, 4 personal days, and 12 holidays Comprehensive Health Insurance: 70-80% employer paid Dental and Vision Insurance Plans Life and Disability Insurance: Employer paid 403(b) Retirement Plan: Up to 50% employer match Generous Tuition Reimbursement Requirements: High School Diploma Experience working with children with autism and related disabilities (preferred) Valid driver's license Main Responsibilities: Ensure the supervision and safety of assigned students Complete high-quality work with minimal errors Follow guidelines in the Employee and Parent Handbooks Comply with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines Demonstrate competency in foundational ABA skills as outlined in the 90-Day Checklist Drive students and staff in Crossroads School vehicles as needed (during school hours only) Maintain case student's program book per guidelines Update case student's program book with new IEPs within 5 school days Update curriculum sheets as sets and levels are introduced and mastered Update behavior data sheets and Behavior Management Guidelines as assigned Maintain case students' electronic files per guidelines Construct Student Day packets per protocol Make curriculum and materials changes within a week of Clinics, Student Day, and Supervision Meetings Summarize and enter data daily Monitor student progress and immediately alert the Lead Special Education Teacher of needed changes Update staff on case student's progress, program changes, and follow-up from Student Day Meetings Assist the Lead Special Education Teacher in curriculum development and modification Communicate parent concerns immediately to the Lead Special Education Teacher and/or EBSC Complete end-of-day tidying responsibilities of case students' materials and the classroom Write quarterly progress reports for case students per protocol About Crossroads Continuum: Crossroads Continuum is a mission-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism.
