Job summary
Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) administers the Department's web applications.The ITS I acts as Full Stack Web Developer and coordinates with the Application Development Manager, ABC program areas, and other IT staff in matters pertaining to full-cycle web application development and deployment.The ITS I provides technical expertise in all aspects of web development, testing, and production launch.

Responsibilities
• Administer the Department's web applications• Act as Full Stack Web Developer• Coordinate with the Application Development Manager, ABC program areas, and other IT staff• Provide technical expertise in web development, testing, and production launch• Use modern techniques, open-source programming languages, and frameworks• Adapt to changing environments and new technologies• Occasional travel may be required
Requirements
• A background investigation and fingerprinting are required• Submit a completed State Examination/Employment Application (STD Form 678) or Electronic State Employment Application• Include unofficial transcripts with application when education is being used to meet minimum qualifications• Possess the Minimum Qualifications which will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
Key Skills Needed
• Experience developing web applications as a full stack developer• Experience with Oracle Databases and PL/SQL• Experience in Linux and Windows O/S, and AWS• Experience in JSON• Knowledge of web application technologies such as Java, JavaScript, React, and PHP• Knowledge of MongoDB• Knowledge of Agile Development processes
