This position functions as an analyst for the statewide Pathways to Potential program (P2P). The Pathways to Potential approach relies on three critical elements to help customers reach their greatest potential: 1) go to where the customer is located; 2) work one-on-one with families to leverage a network of services; and 3) engage with community and school partners to reduce barriers to success, particularly those related to the Social Determinants of Health. The local work is completed by Success Coaches (FIS workers), assigned to local schools to address chronic absenteeism, grade retention and graduation rates. As a member of the state program team, the responsibilities of this position are to champion and support the work of local Success Coaches by collecting and synthesizing data, developing training and resource materials, providing training, and facilitating both internal and external partnerships. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining user lists; monitoring program email; providing support with the Client Log; managing the P2P SharePoint, website, and monthly newsletter; and creating and updating documents associated with P2P for various audiences and purposes. This team is assigned to the Grand Tower in Lansing and the position will have a hybrid schedule of work from home, time in office, time on site visits to county offices, and limited training travel.

Additional Requirements and Information This position is located at the Grand Tower Building, 235 S. Grand Ave., Lansing, MI , however, this position has the ability to work hybrid (combination of remote and office). Selected candidates who have been approved to work hybrid must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions. A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities. Certain positions may require a criminal history background check.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.



Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.



Paid Holidays: Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.



Bonus Programs: Eligible employees with five years of service also receive annual longevity bonuses that grow as seniority increases. Some positions also may qualify for recruitment, retention, and performance bonuses or other special pay premiums.
