Designs and programs control interface touch panels for audio visual systems. Certified with AMX and/or Crestron Control Systems. Works to ensure a user-friendly operating environment for controlling audio/visual equipment. Provides training to users to ensure proper use and care. Primarily responsible for programming AV project control systems, to include the design, installation, and continuing support of graphic touch panel interface layouts based on customer requirements Responsible for audio visual systems management Procedures, and current architectures. Takes an active role in the design and installation of small to large-scale AV systems to include: video teleconferencing, sound systems, lighting, displays, and Command and Control operation centers. Works with the engineering staff to develop and maintain network requirements, architectures, and designs. Local travel to client sites will be required. Long-distance travel will also be required to support mission requirements. Clearance Required: Top Secret
Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of field experience. 
Required Certifications: Current AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Certification Current AVIXA CTS-D or I Certification Skilled in the operation of all commonly used installation test equipment Extron Control Professional Certified Extron XTP Systems Technician BiAMP Harman/AMX design certification Crestron design/installer certification Proficiency with AutoCAD and VISIO Cisco certifications a plus Required Skills: Relevant AV Industry or major manufacturer (i.e. Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, AMX, Extron, ClearOne) certifications is strongly preferred. Significant industry experience in implementing complex Audio-Visual systems for large enterprises. The ability to supervise and manage tasks and installation teams to meet project objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. Be willing and able to travel as project duties call. May require lifting, extensive sitting, standing and walking. Able to read and comprehend drawings, diagrams and system flows Working knowledge of AV technologies, to include the ability to perform testing, analyses, and corrective action in a professional AV environment. Knowledge of wire and connector types on AV related cabling. Conduct end-user training of system functionality and usage.
