Qualifications:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist with a passion for accuracy and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in Medical Accounts Receivable (Experience in nEMT ambulance or ambulance billing is a plus)
Proficiency in various technical and computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, MS Office, and web applications. Experience with Mediroutes and Zoll Billing Software is advantageous.
High school diploma or equivalent
Thorough understanding of healthcare industry tools and audit processes
Ability to interpret medical documents, records, and claims-related documentation
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail
Proven capability to identify and address trends within workflows
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Managing the entire medical billing process with efficiency and accuracy
Collaborating closely with managers and team members to ensure alignment with expectations
Working across departments to maintain billing accuracy and streamline processes
Providing timely reports to management as required
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and laws
Assisting with additional projects as assigned by leadership
