Responsibilities
• Inspecting aircraft windows• Assessing defects for airworthiness• Repairing scratches, pits, and other window damage• Removing and installing replacement windshields and windows• Coordinating service schedules with aircraft owners/operators and maintenance managers• Completing and submitting billing information and evaluation forms to headquarters• Providing airworthiness documents to customers upon job completion• Traveling to customer locations via ground transportation, air travel, or airlines as required• Developing and expanding sales in the assigned Regional Market• Maintaining a neat and orderly work area
Requirements
• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED)• Preferred sales experience, 1 year of orbital sanding experience preferred, auto body experience preferred, previous aircraft experience preferred, A&P license or AMT certificate preferred, sales experience preferred• Proficiency in using various measuring devices• Strong mechanical aptitude• Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred)• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals• Ability to comprehend and apply mechanical and technical manuals• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers• Clear and effective communication skills• Ability to lift/carry weights of up to 70 lbs• Ability to twist, bend, and stoop for 8 hours a day• Ability to pinch and grip various tools with fingers and hands• Ability to reach for 8 hours a day• Proficiency in understanding and following work orders and process specifications• Comfort with climbing up and down ladders
Key Skills Needed
