Responsibilities
• Maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft• Perform regular maintenance on aircraft• Identify and resolve mechanical problems• Collaborate with other personnel to repair engines and parts• Develop and maintain records of maintenance and repairs• Inspect engines, wings, propellers, tails, and other parts• Install new parts and enhance aircraft performance• Repair sheet metal as needed• Ensure proper functioning of engines and systems• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Thorough understanding of aircraft parts, systems, and mechanics• Ability to read and comprehend manual instructions• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite• Detail-oriented with mechanical inclination• Superior and careful workmanship• Ability to perform under stressful conditions• Ability to perform basic inspections and repairs• Ability to learn new skills and methods of repairs• High school diploma or equivalent required• Completion of FAA-accredited technical school program• A&P mechanic certification required within three years of hire• Physical requirements: ability to stand, lie, kneel, lift objects up to 70 pounds, etc.
