Responsibilities
• Evaluate manufacturing processes for ways to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and speed• Create sequenced work instructions and prioritize workflow• Implement mistake-proofing practices and update tooling requirements• Optimize facility layouts and production lines• Perform Root Cause analysis and recommend corrective actions• Assist other departments by providing technical solutions• Train production personnel and ensure manufacturing procedures follow safety regulations
Requirements
• 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering capacity• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques• Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations• Project management skills and problem-solving ability• Ability to occasionally work late shifts or on a Saturday• Degree in engineering or related industry is a plus
