You would be responsible for creating a secure and encouraging environment to help support real life change for our students transition ing out of the Residential Treatment setting . Our team works to uncover the academic, social, and emotional potential of girls who have been held back by emotional and behavioral struggles. Sunrise incorporates Relational DBT into every aspect of the program and ensures that therapists and staff are trained to help girls practice these skills continually .

As a n Aftercare Coach , your day-to-day life is centered around nurturing, guiding, and supporting the girls transitioning out of our direct care.
The pay range for a n Aftercare Coach at Sunrise is $17 to $19 dollars and hour. Pay is depending on experience and education.
WORK SCHEDULE
A Aftercare Coach is a part-time, hourly position, working up to 28 hours a week requirement to work in several different settings. This position requires that you can transition smoothly from working in an office, to working on a site such as a college campus or an in town location.

Academic Participation : Assiting students in signing up for college or finding educational programs. If needed, support with financial aid. Orienting students to education resources and support avaialble within the college/univeristy and community. Alumni communication: Inviting alumni to family events and encouraging them to share and engage appropriately with current Sunrise students and their families. Transition Coaching: Supporting aftercare clients with basic life skills to transition to adulthood. Therapeutic Support: C oaching clients in DBT skills when necessary. 21 years old or older Current driver's license and a good driving record Ability to pass a Utah State background check and drug test Must be willing to make a 8-month minimum commitment E xperience working with at risk youth, childcare, scouting, camps, or post high school training in the field of mental health is preferred .
