Join our dedicated team in the scenic Breckenridge, CO, as an on-site Administrative Support Specialist for our Information Technology department. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting the efficient operation of our IT department, offering a unique blend of administrative duties that directly contribute to our success. Initially on-site, this position transitions to a hybrid format, allowing 1-2 days of remote work weekly after 3-4 months of hands-on training.
As a proactive and customer-focused team member, you will play a key role in supporting our Information Systems Director and meeting the administrative needs of our department. Your responsibilities will span across the varied facets of our department, including Operations, Applications Development, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), ensuring streamlined processes and effective communication.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support and coordination for the Information Systems Department.
Engage in general office support tasks, assist with monthly and annual budgeting, manage departmental purchasing and invoice processing.
Handle vendor contact management, purchasing card processing, and coordinate maintenance/support contracts.
Assist technical staff with documentation and support the management of our organization's web presence.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two years of experience or education in Microsoft Office and standard office procedures.
Valid Colorado Driver's License, with the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Internet, Intranet, scanner applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro, among other programs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work well within a team.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
