Administrative & Human Resources Manager Location Vienna, VA : ```Duties```The Administration and Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department and ensuring the effective management of human resources for a growing multi location Obesity & Weight Management practice in Northern Virginia. This position will also include an administration/office management function to assist the practice manager in certain areas. This function will help to ensure that the organization continues running without interruption. An HR and Administration Manager manages the supply chain throughout the organization and ensures that departmental requisitions are processed, suppliers managed, and necessities supplied correctly.
The key duties include:
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.- Managing employee relations, including handling employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.- Leading recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.- Overseeing the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.- Managing benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.- Developing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.- Maintaining accurate HR records and files.- Ensuring compliance with FMLA regulations and managing leave requests.- Supervising HR staff and providing guidance and support as needed.- Collaborating with other departments to address HR-related issues and provide strategic guidance.
-Assisting Practice Manager and other mangers as needed.
```Skills```The ideal candidate for the Administration and Human Resources Manager position should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.- Experience with HRIS systems such as Kronos, Workday, or Taleo.- Proven experience in contract negotiations and managing vendor relationships.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.- Experience in training development and delivery.- Strong understanding of employee relations principles.- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
