Department Name: MG355: Neurosurgery
Job Summary: Coordination of Neurosurgery administration and operations requires expert supervision and management of personnel and processes across individual programs, locations, departments, and missions. The administrative coordinator II will hire and train senior support staff for the department's brain surgery programs including Neurovascular, Epilepsy, Functional/ DBS , and Tumors.
The administrative coordinator II will supervise staff and manage administrative and clinical support operations, promoting and modeling excellent customer service with patients and UK colleagues. The administrative coordinator II will provide reports to key faculty, administrators and the chair related to the performance of each surgical program and assist in the marketing and program improvement efforts. The administrative coordinator II will report directly to the department administrator. Knowledge and experience with clinical neurosurgical programs is preferred.
