Responsibilities
• Serve as liaison between Department Head and faculty, staff, and students• Assist with development of fiscal and informational reports• Manage emails, appointments, and travel arrangements for Department Head• Perform confidential administrative support functions• Research, compile, and present information and data• Maintain files, inventory records, and correspondence• Communicate with agencies and the public• Provide support as a CanvasTA for Department Head• Assist with building and lab management tasks• Coordinate and support faculty hiring process• Assist with personnel regulations and HR processes• Support faculty with research and promotion activities
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field• Minimum of three years of administrative support experience• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets• Ability to maintain confidentiality• Strong organizational and communication skills• Experience in data preparation and reporting• Knowledge of personnel regulations and HR processes• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
