Full job description Great news! Our current administrative assistant is stepping into a new role on our campus.
New Mexico Baptist Children's Home has a full-time opportunity for another Administrative Assistant on the Portales campus. This position will provide support in order to have an effective office environment. Responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, greeting and directing visitors, processing donations, coordinating volunteer groups, assisting staff, managing data, and more.

Applicants must be mature, proficient in Microsoft Office, able to communicate effectively, a team player, have a high school degree or equivalent, organizational and administrative skills; data entry experience will be helpful. A warm and welcoming personality is a must.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds while walking. The work is primarily performed in an office setting but includes some driving and may occasionally be asked to assist in other areas of campus.
Hourly pay $14-$15/hour depending on experience.
