Job Responsibilities: Provide direct administrative support to a Senior Housing Associate Manage a high-volume caseload of participants within a Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) homeownership program Perform diverse administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, returning calls, handling mail, distributing vouchers, scheduling appointments etc.… Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse population of internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate an attention to detail when reviewing information that has been submitted for completeness or determining what documentation will be required based on applicant situations. Develop knowledge regarding program rules through state and federal guidelines Assist with applications based on state and federal rules and assist in delivering eligibility determinations to clients. Maintain various records and databases Assist in the creation of project files and project documentation, reviewing for quality control as it pertains to compliance with program rules and department best practices. Perform various data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Other duties as assigned Job Details: Payrate: $26-$28/hr. (DOE) Temp to Hire opportunity Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday – Friday)100% onsite – Renton, WA (onsite parking available) Candidate Requirements: Previous experience working in a general office or administrative support role. Previous experience working within the public housing sector, specifically within HCV programs is ideal, but not required. Experience and commitment to providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely response and positive interactions. Ability to show a high level of empathy to others Ability to diffuse and escalate customer inquired, when needed Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to work in proprietary database systems Clearly and effectively communicates both verbally and in writing by actively listening and sharing relevant information. Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, ensuring accuracy, multi-tasking, and handling interruptions appropriately; ensures assignments are completed in a timely and effective manner. Adapts to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities. Ability to work effectively and positively with individuals of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
