We are currently hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our Federal Research Team! In this role, you will provide a wide range of complex, confidential administrative tasks to support project teams and business groups. You'll be expected to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, be a team-oriented professional with strong initiative, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, have strong written and oral communication skills, prioritization skills and be able to work under tight deadlines.

This position is located in Durham, NC, and would be remote with the requirement of working at our Durham office when needed.
Perform complex and confidential administrative functions including but not limited to organizing confidential files, performing data entry, and maintaining accurate records. Processe all communications, including phone calls, email, correspondence, mail, memos, and faxes; responds independently when possible. Manage calendar and schedule appointments/meetings as directed; prepares agendas and materials for meetings. Arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries for personal and business travel needs. Coordinate and execute events, general meeting planning and daily lunch orders. Work with Executive Assistant, facilities and vendors as needed. Manage expense reports for reimbursements and credit card reports ensuring established deadlines are met. Serve as a back-up to Administration to help cover the front desk or other tasks as needed. Handle personal tasks for executives as needed, including but not limited to errands, coordination with vendors, and other misc. tasks and research as needed. Communicate effectively with internal and external clients, positively and professionally. Assist with special projects as needed. Support other areas of business as schedule permits. Attend internal training sessions for growth and development. Bachelor's Degree with up to 5 years of administrative experience. Proficiency in Windows applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of SharePoint is preferred. As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience. The range of starting pay for this role is $40,000-$55,000 per year.
