As our Administrative Assistant III at Dignity Health YRMC, you will help our executive team and department heads coordinate and manage their administrative activities so they can operate efficiently and effectively. Every day you will manage schedules, coordinate meetings, handle correspondence, and maintain records. You will be expected to prioritize tasks, handle confidential information with discretion, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. To be successful in this role, you must have previous administrative experience, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Google Workspace , excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians can receive up to $90,000 if full-time and hired within a year of completing their residency or fellowship. Performs moderately complex administrative, organizational, and project management duties, requiring considerable judgment, independent analysis, and detailed knowledge of departmental and company procedures. Defines and solves problems by researching facts and developing solutions. May independently answer inquires, complaints, and correspondence for manager. Notes commitments made by manager and organize staff implementation of department objectives. Handles confidential information, and maintains confidentiality of information and/or records. Organizes office operations to increase efficiency and simplify reporting procedures, Three (3) years of work related administrative experience. Associates Degree Strong working knowledge of computers word processing and electronic spreadsheet software and databases. Must be willing to learn other software systems. Remains current with changing technology. Typing proficiency of 50 wpm may be required. Strong knowledge of general office practices standard filing procedures telephone etiquette and standard office equipment.
