Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides diversified secretarial and administrative support for an individual or department. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Provides administrative assistance to multiple physicians within the department. Maintains faculty calendars, scheduling meetings, confirming conference registration and making travel arrangement as necessary. Maintains physician curriculum vitae and Missouri/Illinois licensure. Assists with physician re-credentialing of hospital privileges every two years. Prepares correspondence as needed. Assists physician in completing forms, scans and faxes documents, prepares copies as needed, maintains files (electronic and hard). Responds to EPIC tasks as needed. Manages weekly department conference attendance on the Continuing Medical Education website.  Collects speaker forms, including Standard of Content Agreements, Financial Disclosure and lecture objectives. Answers phones, responds to inquiries from physicians, nursing staff, office staff, and other callers as needed. Receives, sorts and distributes mail. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Three years of administrative support experience Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate with a broad and diverse range of people Computer skills with experience using EPIC, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Accuracy and attention to detail. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent high school certification. One year of experience in an office or administrative support position. Grade G06-H Salary Range $17.52 - $26.27 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
