Job descriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Admin Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our preschool. Responsibilities include managing office tasks, handling inquiries from parents and visitors, maintaining student records, coordinating communication between staff and parents, conducting school tours. Admin Assistant plays a vital role in fostering a positive and efficient learning environment for both students and staff. Additionally, the candidate will assist in classrooms when needed, offering support to teachers and ensuring a collaborative educational experience.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling office correspondence.Maintain accurate student records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.Assist with enrollment processes, including registration and paperwork for new students.Coordinate communication between parents, teachers and staff.Provide assistance to teachers and staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Uphold a welcoming atmosphere for parents, visitors, and staff entering the preschool.Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.Stay informed about preschool policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.Must help in classrooms when needed, ensuring a seamless and supportive educational experienceManage staff leave request calendarPrepare daily staff schedulesPrepare lesson plans and learning materialsPrepare supply and food ordersOpening/closing daycare center responsibilitiesOther administrative tasks will be assignedQualifications:AA degree in Early Childhood EducationBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Administration90h preschool/infant toddler certificationsProven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Knowledge of preschool policies and regulations is advantageous.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a preschool environment.Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayWork setting:* In-personExperience:* Early childhood education: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:* 45h preschool certification (Required)Work Location: In person
