This position is responsible for supporting NYBCe Education and Training by performing various administrative, clerical, and logistical duties.
Primary Duties, Responsibilities or Activities Required by Job (Including but not limited to) Coordinates schedule of educational visitors to NYBCe divisions. Supports initiatives to advertise NYBCe educational programs, both internally and externally. Participates in the provision of P.A.C.E. continuing education credit, including the automation of P..A.C.E. certification distribution, compilation of data, and submission of quarterly reports. Assists in coordination of educational programs, including but not limited to communication with speakers, preparation of materials, and performing administrative functions for virtual webinars. Coordinates facilities, equipment, services and supplies for various meetings and events. Communicates verbally and in writing with both internal and external customers. Exemplifies NYBCe's Customer Service Mission and Core Values. Create and modify documents (reports, spreadsheets, and presentations). Provide meeting support, i.e., agenda, minutes, follow up actions. General correspondence/e-mails. Other Secondary Functions Maintain records of NYBCe educational programs. Communicates with customers and attendees of NYBCe educational programs in a clear, concise, appropriate and resourceful manner. Utilizes and navigates multiple software applications. Ordering supplies. Any related duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge
Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Proficient in word, excel PowerPoint, Microsoft teams, adobe.) Skills
Strong attention to details in all work processes. High level of interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Self=motivated to complete assignments on time. Strong organizational skills and time management. Cultural competency and the ability to communicate effectively in a culturally sensitive manner with both individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds. Superior customer service skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills Abilities
Ability to learn and navigate multiple software applications (fast learner/ problem solver) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, to others in one-on-one or small group settings. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers in a helpful, courteous, respectful, and friendly manner while demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations. Ability to work in a strong team environment, including in remote settings. Ability to plan and organize job tasks or resources in an efficient manner. Ability to be responsive and available to management in order to address issues and concerns as they arise. Ability to multi-task and coordinate own schedule to accomplish tasks assigned. Ability to remain flexible and positive amidst unexpected challenges. Required Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma.
Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, & Excel) preferred.
