Position Overview: The purpose of the Admin & Collections Specialist is to assist with billing out and collection of all claims accurately and timely.

Qualifications: Fantastic problem-solving skills Motivated by targets and goals Stable work history and attendance Enjoys working with numbers Detail-oriented Highly organized and persistent Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Calm in stressful situations Claims processing and medical coding training Experience with billing and collecting from KY Medicaid payers High energy, drive, and sense of responsibility Strong organizational and time management skills Essential Functions: Data entry and verification of daily charges Prepare claims for daily submission to insurance companies Typing medical necessity letters and insurance reports Coordination with front office staff on patient benefits and insurance coverage provided Resubmission of Not Paid & Rejected claims Check claim information for accuracy Call insurance companies as needed Call parents as needed Other duties, as assigned
