• Effectively prepares and teaches Anthropology classes• Abides by college policies and maintains professional etiquette• Provides feedback and grades assignments• Maintains attendance records and conducts evaluations of student performance• Maintains a safe and respectful instructional environment• Handles student concerns/complaints and responds to communications promptly• Completes required trainings• Knows and enforces FERPA guidelines• Provides ADA accommodations• Other job-related duties as required
Requirements
• Master's degree in Anthropology• 2 years teaching experience at the community college level• Experience working with Canvas• Good written and oral communication skills• Computer and internet skills essential• Cultural competency• Ability to work with diverse students and maintain good working relationships• Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic environment• Non-essential responsibilities and duties
