Accounts Receivable - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Cisco, a leading technology company based in San Jose, California. This remote position is perfect for individuals who are confident, resourceful, and have a keen eye for detail. As an entry-level position, we are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accounts receivable records- Process incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies- Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner- Monitor customer accounts for late payments and follow up with customers as needed- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting- Assist with month-end closing procedures- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders- Other tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:- 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related field- Confidence and resourcefulness in problem-solving- Strong people management skills- Exceptional attention to detail- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
