TITLE: ACCOUNTING CLERK LOCATION: LINDON, UT
CLASSIFICATION: HOURLY FULL TIME REPORTS TO: CONTROLLER

Job Duties:
Assist the controller in the daily accounting transactions of a subsidiary organization.
Assist them in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the financial statements.
Provide financial information to the controller by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
Conducting account reconciliations and analysis.
Assisting in the companys monthly and yearly closing.
Invoice customers on a weekly basis
Post customer payments as received.
Resolve billing and collection issues.
Maintain and reconcile customer ledgers.
Complete payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Maintain and reconcile vendor ledgers.
Complete monthly bank reconciliations by verifying transactions and comparing to system report balances.
Assist the assistant controller with payroll processing.
File and maintain accounting records
Assist on special accounting projects and/or other duties, as assigned
Learn MAS and any other computer skills need to complete tasks
Practice honesty and integrity
Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug free workplace
Present a neat and professional image
Assist in keeping facility and inventory secure
Follow company policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles concepts, standards and procedures
Proficiency in Excel required, including Pivot tables, Vlookup (and other commonly used formulas) and queries
Good interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal skills
Exemplary work ethic, integrity and reliability are a MUST
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks concurrently
Demonstrates initiative
Accuracy and attention to detail
Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
Comfortable in fast paced environment
Team player who works productively with wide range of people

Education:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting Required (or current enrollment) Experience:
1-2 years in similar position Physical Requirements:
Must be able to use hands on keyboard, sit for long periods of time, lift, reach, and climb stairs
Stand/walk for duration of work hours
Lift/carry/maneuver up to 20 pounds
