We have contract position for at least 6 months or longer, for an Accounts Payables Auditorfor a large government contractor located in the Oak Ridge, TN . This position is remote however will need to go into the office on for meetings on occasion. Must live in the Oak Ridge, TN area.
**US Citizenship is required.** We are searching for an Accounts Payables Auditor. This person is responsible for auditing and processing vendor invoices received through workflow and paperless queues. These invoices are to be processed timely and accurately in conjunction with company policy. In addition, the Auditor is responsible for managing rework invoices, which may involve interfacing with employees and/or vendors to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
Audit invoices in the NPOSPO Workflow systemAudit invoices for Goods POEnsure appropriate allocation information is providedHandle special handling requests by the internal customerAudit for any open sales tax issues and resolveAudit to ensure compliance with company policies and FAR regulationsManage open rework itemsInterface with employees and vendors to resolve issues related to purchase order invoices, including rework items and payment statusOther duties as assigned Basic Hiring Criteria:
A minimum of an Associate's degree with 1 year business experience; OR 2+ years business experience with High School diplomaExperience working in Accounts Payable and Customer ServiceNeed to have Excel and Auditing experience Experience in Microsoft Office Suite Desired Qualifications:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationExperience working in a publicly-traded companyExperience using an accounting systemPay Rate: $29-32.00 an hour.
