Accounts Payable Specialist

Parallel Employment is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for 1st shift in Gowanda, NY.
This will be a Direct Hire Position.
Pay rates : Depending on experience $18-$20/HR
Job Description:
Review, match, and process vendor invoices Work with external vendors on invoice and payment discrepancies Consolidate payments for weekly review with management. Generate checks, wires and ACHs. Generate reports detailing accounts payables status Understand expense accounts and cost centers Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.) Assist Assistant Controller in reconciling payables accounts each month Copy, file, and retrieve materials for accounts payable as needed Relay changes of information to appropriate employees Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Required Education: High School Diploma Or GED REQUIRED. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
At least two years of related experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Required to sit, stand, walk, grasp, handle, reach with hands Phone Etiquette Benefits Apply with us at:
