Responsibilities
Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments
Support with credit card and bank account reconciliation
Generate purchase orders when necessary
Support greater Finance and Purchasing team as necessary
Suggest improvements to better optimize financial transactions and systems
Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process
Ensure compliance with financial regulations (local and national) as well as integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting
Requirements
1-2 years of professional accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) experience with an understanding of the basic principles of finance, accounting and bookkeeping
High school diploma (or equivalent) required; preferred Associate's degree in an applicable field
Some experience in working with accounting softwares and platforms
Sharp mathematical capabilities
Superb time management skills with a high-orientation to detail
Ability to maintain discretion regarding Exotec and vendor confidential information
