This role provides support to internal and external customers, processing day-to-day invoicesPerform high volume invoice entry, including 2 and 3 -way PO matching, transferring e-invoice successfully in accordance with departmental volume and accuracy standardsResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and escalate as needed to ensure timeliness of payments

Responsibilities
• Perform high volume invoice entry, including 2 and 3 -way PO matching, transferring e-invoice successfully in accordance with departmental volume and accuracy standards• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and escalate as needed to ensure timeliness of payments• Matching invoices to payments, identifying discrepancies and ensuring checks are routed correctly• Provide customer service in response to internal and external questions regarding A/P, responding timely and in a consistent manner supporting overall relationships• Assisting with projects within the department• Backup to other staff and other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• 2 years processing accounts payable; previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once• Clear and professional oral and written communication skills by email, phone and in person• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail and ability to follow-up regularly, prioritize, and independently perform complicated tasks with minimal direction• Maintain and apply accounts payable best practices on policies and procedures• Able to identify and resolve routine and complex problems• Able to ensure accurate and timely AP processing• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook 10-key by touch• Professional behavior to include punctuality, reliability, collaboration, and the ability to work well with all levels within the organization
