Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are seeking a resourceful and driven Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at AIG in Los Angeles, California. As an Associate Level role, we are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.

Responsibilities:- Process and monitor accounts payable transactions- Verify, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices- Prepare and process electronic payments- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and transactions- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and cooperation skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
