Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Owens & Minor is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable associate to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an entry-level position, this role is perfect for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be resilient, energetic, and possess strong negotiation and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:- Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and issues- Assist with month-end close activities and reporting- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:- At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related field- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
