Accounts Payable (AP) Staff Accountant Location Vancouver, WA : Job Summary The AP staff accountant supports the Company in optimizing the financial transactions and systems. Essential Functions 1. runs invoices for appropriate documentations and approvals prior to payment. 2. Preforms invoices and general-ledger data entry. 3. Obtains and prints signatures on all checks. 4. Assists senior financials officers as needed. 5. Strengthens and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments. 6. Assists in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process. 7. Exercises integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. 8. Complies with national and local financial regulations. 9. Other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position and based on business needs. Knowledge, Skills, and abilities 1.Excellent Customer service skills. 2.Understanding the basic principles of financing, accounting, and bookkeeping. 3. Understanding the basic financial Statements. 4. Superb time management skills and detail orientation. 5. Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information. Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Strong excel skills. Strong organization skills. Experience with dynamics GP. Experience with multi-company setup. Experience with accounts Payable (or accounts receivable). Basic ADOBE/PDF skills. Reporting Relationships 1. This position reports directly to the controller.
